In this 3-part community workshop, each week will be devoted to one aspect of craft and style. Andrea and Allison will start each class with a writing lesson and discussion of a published piece. Also in class each week, students will write and share their true, personal stories and workshop each others stories. There will be an option for a fourth, more intense 4-person class.

  • Week 1. How to start your story, ground the reader, use details.

  • Week 2. Show AND tell, build stakes, go to scene.

  • Week 3. How to end your story and get published.

 

These classes will NOT be recorded.
